API Plan 32 is an external flush system designed to improve seal performance by injecting clean, cool, and compatible fluid into the seal chamber. This plan is particularly effective in applications where the pumped fluid contains solids, high viscosity, or high temperature, which can impact seal reliability. By supplying a filtered external flush, Plan 32 ensures an optimal sealing environment, reducing wear and extending seal life.
Unlike Plan 11, which recirculates process fluid, Plan 32 introduces an external source, making it ideal for cases where process contamination must be minimized.
